Wiehrgefühl at Günterstalstraße 21 is the organic café branch of the Freiburg family bakery Kaisers Gute Backstube and opened on 28 September 2018. Its location in Unterwiehre-Nord is convenient: a few steps from the Dreisam riverbank, opposite the Johanneskirche and within reach of Annaplatz. That puts it on one of the main routes between downtown and the Wiehre, easily reached on foot by walkers along the Dreisam and by residents of the surrounding period-building quarters.

The range is consistently certified organic (DE-ÖKO-001, inspected by BCS-Öko Garantie GmbH) and includes organic breads and rolls, sweet pastries, cakes and tortes, plus its own organic wholegrain and organic spelt lines. Pretzels, lye pastries and the house Artisane rolls are baked fresh on site. The menu also features an extensive breakfast offering, served on Sundays and public holidays too.

The café has around 55 seats indoors and about 10 outside and is frequented throughout the day by families, commuters and walkers alike. It is open Monday to Friday 6:30 to 18:30, Saturday 6:30 to 18:00, and Sundays and holidays 8:00 to 18:00; check the opening times and breakfast offering before visiting to be safe.
