Mein Freiburg Marathon
The season opener of the big German city marathons - marathon, half marathon, relay and fun run, starting and finishing at the Freiburg exhibition center.
Mein Freiburg Marathon opens the season of Germany's major city marathons in April. Runners tackle the full distance (42.195 km), the half marathon, a marathon relay, a 10 km fun run and a students' marathon. The start and finish of all events is the Messe Freiburg exhibition center in the west of the city. Runners from out of town usually arrive the day before - a hotel with good tram links is worthwhile.
