Christopher Street Day Freiburg

The annual demonstration for the rights of queer people, with an opening rally, a parade through the city centre and a closing rally.

Christopher Street Day Freiburg is organised by Christopher Street Day Freiburg e.V. and has existed in its present form since 2014. The day begins with an opening rally on the Platz der Alten Synagoge, followed by the parade through the city centre, which in 2026 features ten trucks. In the evening a closing rally with speeches and performances takes place back on the Platz der Alten Synagoge. The association states that it works independently and without corporate sponsorship. The Platz der Alten Synagoge is in the city centre and is easily reached from the Wiehre by tram or on foot.
