Concerts at the Ladies' Pool

Open-air concerts at the Loretto Ladies' Pool, staged by the „Friends of the Lorettobad“ association. Free entry, donations welcome.

The Loretto Ladies' Pool in the Wiehre has been open since 1886 and is the only women-only outdoor pool of its kind in Germany. On the concert evenings run by the „Freunde des Lorettobades e.V.“ association, male guests are admitted by way of exception. The musical range spans big band and jazz through singer-songwriters to classical ensembles. Entry is free and donations go towards improvements to the pool, such as sun shading for the paddling pool. As the pool sits in the middle of the district, it is an easy walk or cycle from anywhere in the Wiehre; tram line 2 stops at Lorettostraße.
